GreenGeeks was started in 2008 and has continued to evolve over these years. It was founded by Trey Gardner who was involved with the web hosting industry since 1999. As with most web hosting companies you’ll find a mix of people who love them and others who aren’t so fond of them. Personally I’m a fan of them mainly for their push for a greener web hosting industry.

Pros: If you care about our planet, then you have to love them. On top of their green approach they offer a great price for shared hosting and also offer WordPress, VPS, and Reseller options. You also get a FREE domain, cPanel, and a 30 day money back guarantee.
